Grant Recipient Spotlight – Communities in Schools at Columbia High School

WEST COLUMBIA – One of our MLKCC Community Grant recipients, Communities in Schools (CIS), recently sponsored a mentoring event at West Columbia Elementary.  The Columbia High School “Stand By Peace” CIS mentors worked with their younger peers to create posters and develop activities focusing on drug-free living.

The students are using drug-free posters and activities purchased through your grant, because of you have helped make our program stronger! – Sheila Newton, CIS Site Coordinator
